Innocentive E- Business


The Wikipedia is the monarch of crowdsourcing. They’ve built their huge online encyclopedia by letting anyone and everyone write the entries and they’ve managed to avoid paying for it. But Robert Scroble (blog: Scrobleiaer) has a blog post last week about the future of crowdsourcing. He suggests that free crowdsourcing could be on the way out thanks to Dave Ingram, the CEO of Brownbook.net. Ingram is paying the crowd to review businesses. There’s even an entrepreneurial aspect to it.
InnoCentive: started in 2002, crowdsources research and development for biomedical and pharmaceutical companies, among other companies in other industries. InnoCentive, provides connection and relationship management services between “Seekers” and “Solvers.” Seekers are the companies searching for solutions to critical challenges. Solvers are the 125,000 registered members of the InnoCentive crowd who volunteer their solutions to the Seekers. Anyone with interest and Internet access can become an InnoCentive Solver. Solvers whose solutions are selected by the Seekers are compensated for their ideas by InnoCentive, which acts as broker of the process. Instead we work to delivery targets acceptable to our suppliers.
Many employers are reluctant to employ those of a lower caste, not least because of the reactions of their existing staff of a higher caste. With no access to education and lack of employment in rural areas, these people never have the opportunity to pull themselves out of poverty.
As well as paying a fair wage, Imagination offer a full social and personal development programme to all employees, including free medical and dental care, interest free personal loans, a retirement scheme, sport/fitness activities and educational classes. Environmental practice :- Sound environmental practices go hand in hand with the ethical treatment of human beings. Creating products in a way that is responsible to the planet, using indigenous materials where possible.

Next to them is man with a set of paintbrushes placed atop a used paint can, doesn't take much guesswork to figure out why you'd want to hire him. What's the difference between sitting here like this with your kit and waiting at home for a phone call?
Have they been sitting here in this spot for so long that it feels like coming to work everyday? Would everyone have their regular places? Are they better known for being found here everyday? I'm curious to know why the use of the phone number scrawled on random pieces of wood or cardboard isn't as visible here as it has been in other capital cities. I don't recall it out either,curious indeed why this system hasn't taken off in Bangladesh or at least in this region. Has anyone seen it in other parts of Bangladesh?
